Home-Based Business Receives Coveted Award for Support of America's
Homeless Veterans
National Coalition for Homeless Veterans honors AtHome America at national conference
The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV) hosted their annual conference at the L'Enfant Plaza in Washington, D.C., June 5-6. AtHome America was recognized with the Corporate Partnership Award for their support of homeless veterans programs throughout the United States.
The Corporate Partnership Award is given to corporations that have given contributions to NCHV in support of their efforts to help America's homeless veterans regain control of their lives and return to society as productive and self-sufficient citizens.
Lisa Brandau, co-founder of AtHome America, was on hand to publicly receive the coveted award on Wednesday night. “AtHome America is proud to support the NCHV in all their efforts to strengthen and expand services to America's homeless veterans,” said Brandau. “Our HelpAmerica Foundation philanthropy has donated more than $25,000, and we are ready to donate even more through various initiatives in the upcoming years.”
For 25 years, AtHome America has been decorating homes through in-home demonstrations — called HomeShows — with their extensive collection of stylish and affordable home-decorating accessories, designed with family in mind.
