Cases 4 a Cure!
During the month of May 2007, which is National ALS Awareness Month, a number of AtHome America's independent sales consultants — or HomeStyle Specialists — participated in the Cases 4 a Cure campaign. They purchased cases of Hope 4 Mike Candles to sell at their in-home demonstrations — called HomeShows. They also sold candles at fundraisers, school events or in their communities, with 100 percent of the proceeds were donated to Hope 4 Mike.
All HomeStyle Specialists who participated in the campaign were entered into a drawing for prizes which were awarded at AtHome America's 2007 national convention in July.
Becky and Mike Wright, as well as the rest of the AtHome America Family, would like to thank ALL those who participated in the campaign, and would like to congratulate the following winners for their continued support!
Kim Haber, HomeStyle Specialist from Sussex, New Jersey — Kim raised the MOST money for ALS through the Cases 4 a Cure campaign and will be honored along with her husband as the Grand Marshall of the Hope 4 Mike team during the 2007 Walk 4 Life along the Chicago lakefront on September 8, 2007. They will share the honor with their close friends — Jen and Paul Derin. Paul was diagnosed with ALS at the age of 35. He and his wife have five children, and he is fighting every day to find a cure for ALS. Paul and Jen supported the cause by raising more than half of what Kim collected.
Jan Johnson, HomeStyle Specialist from Channahon, Illinois — Jan took second place in the Cases 4 a Cure campaign. For her efforts, she was rewarded with $150 in AtHome America business supplies.
Joy Messer, HomeStyle Specialist from Fairfield, Iowa — Joy took third place in the Cases 4 a Cure campaign and was rewarded with $75 in AtHome America business supplies.
Maegen Zach, HomeStyle Specialist from Apple Valley, Minnesota — Her name was randomly drawn to receive two FREE registrations for the 2007 AtHome America national convention.
Thanks to ALL who participated in the Cases 4 a Cure campaign!
