National Coalition for Homeless Veterans

Founded in 1990 by a group of homeless veteran service providers, the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV) is a non-profit organization that seeks to eliminate homelessness in the veteran community and ultimately eliminate the problem.

NCHV invites individuals and all types of service providers to collaborate to develop innovative and comprehensive services which will ultimately allow homeless veterans to become self-sufficient. The group services as a liaison between branches of the federal government and community-based homeless veteran service providers. It continues to hold fast on to its initial goal to eliminate homelessness among veterans.

How AtHome America Helped
In support of its noble mission to completely eradicate the plight of homeless U.S. veterans, the HelpAmerica Foundation was pleased and proud to present a check for $25,000 to the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans at its national convention in February 2002, and again at AtHome America's national convention on July 28, 2005, where a second check for $25,000 was presented to help Stand Downs in every state!
