2008 HelpAmerica Foundation Grant Recipients
AtHome America’s charitable giving foundation, the HelpAmerica Foundation gave more than $150,000 to worthy causes across the United States. Recipients were honored at a special luncheon held on Saturday, Aug. 9, at Salute, AtHome’s annual convention for HomeStyle Specialists, the independent contractors who sell our HomeWares.
The money donated to these organizations was raised by our HomeStyle Specialists, the independent sales representatives who sell our AtHome Products at HomeShows, or in-home demonstrations. At HomeShows, customers can make a $5 donation to the foundation to receive Words of Truth, USA signs. One-hundred percent of the net proceeds go to the HelpAmerica Foundation to help homeless veterans.
